Living Environment Weekly Reflection Assignment

The following standing assignment is due every Tuesday before class:
  1. In two (2) to four (4) complete sentences, describe the most important concepts that you learned about biology (the study of living things).
  2. Identify the science skill that you feel you worked on the most this week: (1) asking questions; (2) developing and using models; (3) planning and carrying out experiments; (4) analyzing and interpreting data; (5) using mathematics and computational thinking; (6) constructing explanations; (7) engaging in argument from evidence; (8) obtaining, evaluating, and communicating information.
  3. In one (1) or more complete sentences, describe a specific activity from class or lab that helped you work on the science skill you selected above.
  4. In two (2) to four (4) complete sentences, explain how the concepts you learned and/or the skills you worked on this week connect to concepts that you learned last week, in previous science classes that you have taken, or in your everyday life experience.

Please note: Reflections must be turned in through Google Classroom by the due date. Most homework assignments may be turned in up to one late for 50% credit. Work that is not turned in after one past the due date will receive a zero and cannot be made up for credit.
